Complementary Angles
A complementary angle is 2 angles that add up to 90 degrees. Complementary comes from the latin completum meaning complete because a right angle is thought of as a complete angle. Again like the Supplementary angles, they don't have to be together.
Ex: 27 degrees + 63 degrees = 90 degrees. You can remember it, "C" for Complementary stands for Corner (right angle). |
