Slope of a Parallel Line
"In geometry, parallel lines are lines in a plane which do not meet; that is, two lines in a plane that do not intersect or touch each other at any point are said to be parallel." Finding the slope of a Parallel Line is simple. Since parallel lines travel forever without touching, they must be the same angle. So, they will also have the same slope and lines with the same slope are parallel.
